Creation of the upper eyelid fold is similar to upper eyelid blepharoplasty, except that the levator aponeurosis is repositioned to pull on the upper part of the eyelid skin, creating a new eyelid fold. This procedure is common among Asians, who would want a more Caucasian-looking eyelid.
